What is the idea behind the Ten Billion Satoshi Homepage (10BSHP)? +

Thirteen Years ago amidst the start of the Web 2.0 era there was one website that made headlines worldwide. This website was called The Million Dollar Homepage. Launched on 26 August 2005, the website became an internet phenomenon. The Alexa ranking of web traffic peaked at around 127 and generated a million dollars of income for its creator. If you're old enough, this is most likely the part of the story that most of you remember.

Much more important than that however, the website became a beautiful snapshot of that time and spirit, which can still be visited today. Now 13 years later, Ten Billion Satoshi Homepage (10BSHP) is our contribution to a far greater cause. Cryptocurrencies wouldn't be here if it wasn't for those willing to follow an idea so revolutionary that you almost have to be crazy to support it. History shows, however, that this is exactly what is needed to bring about change. We firmly believe that crypto is all about the people. The developers, the entrepreneurs, the investors. The risk takers and believers. One community striving for an economic shift long overdue. With 10BSHP we want to give you a way to promote your own crypto project and showcase your involvement as an early adopter. To express your faith and believe in crypto and in building a decentralised system free from governmental control.

Where does the name 10 Billion Satoshi Homepage (10BSHP) come from? +

We had to choose a pixel grid resolution that would still be usable on mobile devices. Therefore we went with the most common one. 1920x1080px full HD. This gives us a pixel total of 2.073.600px. At a nett price of 5k Satoshi per pixel that amounts to approximately 10 Billion Satoshi. Hence the name.

How do I pay for beeing part of 10BSHP? +

All Transactions are processed via Coinbase Commerce API. On the checkout screen, you can choose between four crypto currencies. We accept BTC, ETH, LTC and BCH. After you've chosen your desired currency, you will see a wallet address (QR code) and the exact amount due. Coinbase gives you a 60 minutes window to complete your payment. If you want it to run smoothly - double check the amount & pay on time. If you still happen to have a problem, you can contact us with your order code.

Who guarantees me uploading my image to 10BSHP will generate any leads to my website? +

Well there is no guarantee obviously (let me ask my crystal ball...), but we do have a few recommendations that will increase the likelihood of your success on 10BSHP: Pick an appealing image or a fun gif that will attract peoples' attention. Ensure you purchase a suitable and big enough pixel space for whatever it is you want to display. And then of course spread the word and let everyone know about 10BSHP! Inform your peeps that you are a part of this movement. Cause, the more people visit 10BSHP, the higher the likelihood people will see what we create together and ultimately click on your image and get directed to your website. And from there on it is up to you to get people on board your own crypto project!

What currencies are accepted? +

We accept BTC, ETH, LTC and BCH. You can choose your desired currency in the checkout screen.

I have no crypto, but wanna participate in the 10BSHP movement. What do I do? +

It's easy. We're not gonna let you contribute with fiat. Join the movement. Get some crypto first. That's kinda the whole point of this website. Probably the easiest way to do this right now would be via www.coinbase.com or www.crypto.com. Both offer newbie friendly apps for Android and iOS. To all the others: you know how that works.

I under/overpayed for the pixels I purchased. +

Don't do that! If you absolutely need to make a mistake here, at least don't pay too little. Just kidding, mistakes happen. Be aware though, that due to the nature of blockchain technology and the price volatility of crypto we cannot offer payment in partial amounts. All underpaid orders are considered unfulfilled. Refunds have to be manually requested. Refunds can only be issued if the transaction amount is within the minimum transaction limit of the respective currency. In this case please use the contact form to get in touch. Select I have a question about my pixel/transaction and fill out the field with your Coinbase order code. Please also provide the wallet address of the coin you initially paid with. In short: in order to avoid all this, pay on time & double check the exact amount due.

Are the rumors correct that a proportion of the money raised through 10BSHP will get donated? +

Yes. 10 percent of the nett price of every payment will be donated to charity organisations that accept crypto currencies. You can see your donation amount in your order summary.

What's a Golden Pixel? +

Additionally to our goal of donating 1 Billion Satoshi, we're giving away 1.000px of ad space to charity for every 100.000 Pixel sold. We're calling them Golden Pixel. If your're part of a crypto charity organisation, you can get in touch with us here: contact. If you need help in designing or animating your image, we will provide these services for free. This however only applies to our Golden Pixel.

What are the requirements when uploading my image to 10BSHP? +

We accept JPG, PNG and GIF at 72dpi. The maximum file size is capped at 100KB. The pixel minimum is 10x10px, the maximum 200x200px. And yes you can upload an animated GIF, just make sure it's within the file size limits. Choose your image size wisely. Ensure that your logo is prominent and sticks out, so don't choose a too small space. Double check your preview and order summary before you proceed to checkout. Once the process is completed there will be no way to change the image or any info you provided. To complete the process you also need to fill out an e-mail address, a project link (url of the website you want to promote) and a project title (tooltip which shows on hover). The e-mail address is needed to inform you once your funds have arrived and your logo is visible. You will also get an order receipt to the email address you provided.

What not to do! +

Do not upload images that are of explicit pornographic, racist or fascist nature! Due to the irreversible nature of digital currency protocols, transactions can neither be cancelled nor reversed once sent. Since we're using coinbase commerce, which is a non-custodial solution for accepting cryptocurrency payments, it's also not possible to refund refunds via the commerce API. Also bear in mind: Do not send coins to another coins address. This means BTC must be send to BTC and ETH to ETH, and so on. If you send to another coins address you will lose your funds permanently.

Who the fuck is Ryo Hazuki? +

Ryo Hazuki ist the head of 10BSHP and part of the creative agency FOXS. And as with all foxes, he hunts in the pack. 10BSHP is just one of many projects by the FOXS and would not have been possible without the rest of the pack.
